This policy explains what information Reel Wave (the web app at app.reel-wave.com and the Reel Wave mobile app) collects, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. Reel Wave is provided by Miguel Alejandro Pina Yanez, Colombia.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address and profile picture, provided by Apple or Google when you sign in.
- Content you create: the prompts, images, video, audio, captions and other media you upload, generate or edit.
- Connected social accounts: account or channel name, ID and profile picture, and the OAuth tokens needed to publish on your behalf.
- Publishing data: the posts you schedule, their captions and settings, and publishing results.
- Usage and billing: product usage, analytics events, and subscription status. Payments are processed by Apple or Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate you, generate and edit media, publish content when you ask us to, maintain your library and preferences, show analytics, prevent abuse, and operate and improve the service. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising.
Google and YouTube user data
Reel Wave uses YouTube API Services to let you connect your YouTube channel and publish videos to it. By connecting YouTube you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
When you connect a channel we access and store its name, ID and profile picture, plus OAuth access and refresh tokens, which are encrypted at rest. We use them only to upload the videos and thumbnails you choose to publish, along with the title, description and privacy settings you set, and to show which channel is connected. We do not sell YouTube data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than YouTube.
You can disconnect YouTube at any time from the Social Hub, which deletes the stored tokens and channel details, and you can revoke Reel Wave's access from your Google Account permissions page. You can also email us to have this data deleted.
Reel Wave's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing with service providers
Data is shared only as needed with infrastructure, authentication, AI generation, analytics, billing, and social publishing providers. Content is sent to a social platform only when you connect that account or request a publication. When you use an AI feature, the prompts and media you choose for it are sent to the provider that performs it: Google Gemini (analysis, writing and image generation), KIE.ai and the models it hosts (image and video generation, background removal), ElevenLabs (voice generation) and Orio. They process this content only to return your result.
Security
Data is sent over HTTPS. Social account tokens are encrypted at rest and are never intentionally logged. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while your account is active and as needed for security, legal and operational purposes. You can permanently delete your account from Settings, disconnect individual social accounts from the Social Hub, or email us to request deletion of your data.
Children
Reel Wave is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
